In a world pursuing a profound reduction in carbon dioxide emissions, the ecological transition is becoming more complex due to increasingly unstable geopolitical conditions, combined with rapid and unpredictable technological progress.
The full involvement of economic actors—individuals and communities, businesses, and institutions—is essential to achieving significant results in emission reduction.
This direct engagement of actors, together with the commitment to data collection for research and for policy design aimed at reducing emissions, represents the guiding thread of this research area.
