Silvio Vismara is Professor of Finance at the Department of Management of the University of Bergamo, Italy. He is Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Technology Transfer, and Editor of Entrepreneurship Theory and Practice, Small Business Economics, the British Journal of Management. He is listed as a highly cited researcher by Clarivate. His research interests are in entrepreneurial finance and focus mainly on IPOs, equity crowdfunding and academic entrepreneurship.
