Full Professor of Private Law at the University of Bologna and Director of the Advanced Postgraduate Course in Artificial Intelligence and Data Protection Officer. He is a lawyer admitted to practise before the Italian Court of Cassation and other Higher Courts, and a member of the Ph.D. Board in European Law. He is also Co-Director of the Information Technology Law book series. He has participated in national and international research projects on innovative technologies, with a particular focus on AI Law, IT Law and Data Law, and has authored numerous publications in these fields.
