Prof. Davide Piacentino is Full Professor of Economic Statistics at the University of Palermo (Italy). He has gained experience in the fields of regional science, spatial economics and statistics, particularly focusing his research on the relationship between territorial context – both regional and local - and firms’ performance. He has numerous publications in international journals such as Technological Forecasting and Social Change; Regional Studies; Spatial Economic Analysis; Spatial Statistics; Economic Modelling; R&D Managment; Small Business Economics; Journal of Technology Transfer.
