This research stream focuses on data collection and the development of indicators and models to study how innovation for the transition to a market economy within companies and territories is influenced by the international context.

This includes consideration of import-export dynamics, foreign direct investment, migration flows, and related policies.

Further attention is given to changes in the structure of intersectoral flows of goods and services between territories and the consequent reconfiguration of global value chains (GVCs) induced by the dissemination of circular economy practices.
