This research stream is dedicated to policies for the transition to a circular economy, centred on innovation and smart specialisation.
Its primary mission is to create a detailed map of risks and opportunities at the regional level to promote the circular economy. This also involves defining a dashboard of indicators to support stakeholders and policy makers in making informed and strategic decisions for an effective circular transition.
Furthermore, the research stream is committed to providing practical lessons and problem-solving based on best practices in innovation-driven circular transition, offering concrete support to stakeholders and decision-makers.
