THEMATIC AREA
This research stream develops indicators and models for analyzing the socio-economic impact of the transition towards an innovation-driven circular economy, with particular attention to labour market dynamics.
The activity aims to determine how circular economy innovations may lead to skill mismatches within companies and territories, as well as to map the set of skills that most effectively contribute to the transition to a circular economy across different sectors and technological domains.
Further analysis focuses on the impact of circular economy innovation on wage differentials across occupations, sectors, and territories.
